Here’s a glimpse of our new and exotic wines:
Pride Mountain Vineyard Merlot 2006
The 2004 and 2005 vintages both rated 93 points or better in the Wine Spectator
Duckhorn Napa Cabernet 2005
For over 25 years they have brought us rich and deeply complex wines
Lail Vineyards “Blueprint” 2005
Smooth, ripe and fleshy, with a supple texture and pretty, elegant currant, plum, cedar, anise and floral scents. Well-focused, with a sense of delicacy and finesse, it features ripe tannins and a lingering aftertaste. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Araujo Estate Winery “Altagracia” Cabernet Sauvignon 2005
(BioDynamic, Boutique Winery)
The 2005 Altagrácia is the most serious and sophisticated one we have produced to date. The fine grained tannins, vibrancy and purity characteristic of the estate are all expressed in this beautiful wine. Delicious now, it will age for a decade and beyond.
Hanna Alexander Valley Cabernet 2005
Saturated reddish purple in color with an aroma of berries and plum with hints of mint and white pepper. Flavors of cherries and spice, it has a polished mouthfeel with fine tannins and perfect acidity.
Hess Collection Mt Veeder 2004
Supple and graceful, especially for Mount Veeder, offering a mix of dried herb, ripe currant and cherry, with light cedary, creamy oak. Ends with a layered, complex aftertaste.
Oliverhill Winery “Jimmy’s Section” Shiraz
This is a wine of real personality. Smooth, with a winning reticence to the polished blueberry and plum flavors, delicately shaded with loamy, leafy notes 91points in the Wine Spectator.
